this Ken has one of the most handsome and detail face sculpts I ever seen, or collected. Well proportioned and easy to pose. the Barbie also has a gorgeous look with her almost 60’s style eye makeup and hairstyle, and I love the pierced navel. Overall this set is 10 stars and absolutely stunning!

What kind of pipes(exhaust) for your Harley did you put on your bike?
Looking to put new pipes on a softail heritage. Right now stuck on Thunderheaders, Vance harley exhaust and Hines and Rineharts. Cant decide. Also stuck between getting 2 in 1 or duel exhaust.Looking to put new pipes on a softail heritage. Right now stuck on Thunderheaders, Vance and Hines and Rineharts. Cant decide. I bought this toy for my son when he was 2 years old. Great trike but the age recommendation is not accurate. My son could not reach the pedals. We even tried wood blocks on the pedals but he still could not reach it. I would not buy this toy for a 2 year old (especially if they are on the small side). My son is now three and can finally touch the pedals.

I bought this for my grandson’s second birthday. He cant reach the pedals yet but that does’nt stop the great time that he has riding it all over the house. When he looks at it he says my cycle my cycle! The lights and sounds are the cutest part of this trike to me. This was well worth the money.
Thanks so much.

I just couldn’t resist buying this for our first grandson. This has lights and sounds that the kids love. Of course his mom wasn’t too happy about the noise, but we were heros in our grandson’s eyes.

Cute toy…not quite as cool as I thought it would be. My 2 1/2 year old son likes it, but honestly spends more time on his regular old tricycle than on this.

I have been collecting the Harley Davison Barbies ever since they came out. Now we get the new generation of Barbie… I miss their old figures (that is what I remember playing with as a kid), but I still love em!

I had planned on leaving this set in the box, but the carrier had other plans. The box was pulverized, with only tape holding it together. Win some, lose some. Anyway, Barbie’s leather outfit looks more off white than like the white in the promo photo, but since she’ll be on display she won’t get as dirty. You can zip up her jacket, the jacket pockets are real, and it has the Harley logo on the back– you won’t see this if you leave her in the box.

She does look a little like Amy Winehouse with the earrings, hair piled on top and dark eyes and makeup. I don’t think she has tattoos; but I’m afraid I wouldn’t get the jacket back on if I took it off to look. There’s black nail polish, pale lips, all the edges are finished… she’s really spectacular. Her legs are bendable, but her arms are not. I don’t know what they’re thinking when they make these– probably that no one will take them out of the box anyway. I have the Barbie Harley-Davidson Motorcycle, and if I have to have them out of the box, it would have been nice to have Barbie fully posable for the bike, especially since Ken is.

Ken is fully jointed and looks awesome on the bike! He’s got his chain– no wallet attached, but at this scale it would just add bulk and he probably wouldn’t sit right. His tattoo is OK– nicely done, but nothing to write home about. I *think* he has the same facial sculpt as the Twilight Edward Cullen Ken Doll, but painted facial features and skin tones can play tricks on the eye. I think a lot of people realize that it’s difficult to make a good male doll, but they’ve really pulled it off with this one. He’s right up there with Harley Davidson Ken #2, and Ken as Aragorn. My only gripe about him is the velcro on the back of his shirt is bulky. They can do better than that.

Overall, there’s nothing here that merits subtracting a star. It’s a top-notch set just like the other Harley Barbies and Kens have been, in or out of the box. I wish all collectible Barbies and Kens could be this well-done.

in few words , this is the hottest ken ever made his new full articulated body is too much , she is very Amy Winehouse alike. Get ‘em now.

Everyone who looks at this doll immediately says to me “Pink chaps?” as if chaps probably don’t come in all colors anyway and they never expected to see a Barbie in pink. However I have to admit the pink chaps kind of distract from the rest of the doll. Her makeup is a perfect biker look with smoky eyes and neutral lips. Her blonde hair is in a low ponytail with tendrils that come down both sides of her head and she has black nail polish.

She is good for display in or out of the box, but if you leave her in the box, you’ll miss the tattoo on her back, and the fact that the leather top really laces up in the back. I removed the pants & chaps, added fishnet stockings, clunky black heels and a knee-length black skirt with the leather top still in place for a totally different look. She kind of reminds me or Eric Northman’s assistant Pam on True Blood. I put some sunglasses on her so she won’t go poof if she is exposed to the sun. :-)

The doll’s right ear is triple pierced, with two small earrings in her upper ear along with the large loop. The metal is reacting with the vinyl and is causing what collectors call “green ear.” This is somewhat common in dolls that have metal jewelry, and doesn’t happen to every doll. Your mileage will vary from doll to doll, depending on any number of outside factors. If you take her out of the box, you may want to consider removing the top two earrings and replacing them with something else, or just leave her with her two hoops. The single hoop on the left ear shows no discoloration, so as a longtime collector I would have to say the two smaller studs are likely the culprit for the discoloration. The way her hair is placed, I don’t know why they even included these studs, since you can hardly see them anyway. (I’m adding a picture of her discolored ear, but it is difficult to see in a photograph, even with a good camera not using a flash.)

Overall for play or display this would be a 5 star doll if not for the ear discoloration. It is high quality as the other Harley Barbies have been over the years, and I have certainly enjoyed playing with her and making her over. 4 stars for the lace up top, tattoo, and overall fantastic doll.

They shipped fast and that is what’s important. I will order again if I need to.

I have to admit, Barbie is not my primary doll for collecting. In fact, we bought this doll for my daughter’s collection. But when we actually took her out of the box, I have to confess I was smitten–absolutely smitten–with this doll’s face.

Her makeup is really perfect for this look. She’s got smokey eyes, but very neutral lips (check out my real-life photos of this doll!). Her hair is heavily gelled in the front, and came attached to her “leather” bustier (which really does lace up in the back).

The outfit is pretty cool, without looking trashy. She’s wearing jeans under her pink “leather” chaps. And her bustier is pretty over-the-top, and she does have an angel tattoo on her back (just be aware of this if you’re buying her for a younger collector). She has over-sized gunmetal gray hoop earrings that really pull together her look, and of course, black motorcycle boots and an airbrushed helmet.

My one complaint with this doll is her hair. I wish Mattel would fix its packaging on the collector dolls. More often than not, when you debox a doll, the hair just looks like a rat’s nest in the back. However, in this case, Barbie rides a motorcycle. Heck, everyone who has ever ridden on a motorcycle knows your hair gets messed up. So that’s why I still can rate this doll five stars. (Just be careful if you debox her.)

Im a big, big Harley Davidson Barbie collector and of the Dolls from Around the World. I have all H.D. except for the 1st one.
She completes my collection. If more were to come out, I would keep buying them and adding only them to my collection.

Helmet on and he is ready to go! This goes slow enough that we can keep up with him and fast enough for him to enjoy. The battery needs charging about the same time the adults need a break.

My son is 2 and this is a good size for that age. All he has to do is press down to pedal to go, and the button on the tank switches it from F to R. It took him only a few hours on Xmas morning to have it mastered. Good price for a 1st powerwheels.

Flagg July 31, 2011 at 6:27 pm

I got this for my grandson for Christmas. He loves motorcycles and, when he opened this, he was ecstatic. He is 2 years old and fits on it just fine (although he is a little big for his age). However (and I have heard this from others) he is still a little afraid of pressing on the pedal to make it go. Perhaps he is so used to pushing himself along or because it does kind of jump quickly when he presses down on the pedal. He is getting used to it and it is the first thing he does every morning since Christmas – sometimes at 4:30 AM!! The decals that come with it make it look even cooler. It appears to be very sturdy as well.

My nephew (and his Daddy) love love love this bike! GREAT wow gift for under the Christmas tree. Easy to put together, and not too whimpy in power. My little daredevil is going to get a lot of fun time out of this toy.
